FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - AIO-6

The main difference between the two devices is that the AIO-6 LTE (4G) can be connected directly to the internet with a mobile data SIM card via the 4G network. This gives you access to features such as live video streaming, weather forecast, SOS emergency calls and notifications on your mobile phone if someone touches your motorcycle. We recommend you watch our product video for a thorough overview of all the new smart features. Above you can also see a comparison of the two models.

Like all our devices, Chigee AIO-6 comes with a 24-month warranty and a 12-month warranty on accessories.

No, unfortunately the cameras from the AIO-5 Lite are not compatible with the AIO-6, so you will need to order your AIO-6 with cameras if you want to use features like Sentry Guard, Blind Spot Detection and live streaming (only on AIO-6 LTE) of video on the AIO-6.

The device comes with a so-called "IoT" (Internet of Things) SIM card, which unfortunately does not work in Denmark, so you have to buy your own SIM card with a data subscription that gives access to 4G mobile data.

Yes, but you will need to purchase the special bracket designed for BMW to be mounted on the back of the device.

Yes, you can use cameras for the AIO-6 even if you mount the device in your BMW Connected Ride cradle, using the special bracket that must be purchased. When you mount your AIO-6 in the BMW Connected Ride cradle, simply connect the USB-C cable that connects the cameras to the device. Similarly, remove the USB-C cable when you take the device with you.

Yes, just like the Chigee AIO-5, you will be able to purchase our remote control that allows you to use the BMW Wonder Wheel on your AIO-6. The list of compatible BMW motorcycles will be updated on this page as soon as we receive data from the manufacturer.

No, like our AIO-5 units, the AIO-6 can only be used when mounted in the cradle on the motorbike, which supplies power from the battery.

Like our AIO-5 devices, the AIO-6 can use Micro SD cards up to 256 GB. Remember to buy a card that supports fast transfer (min. A2).

Yes, you can use almost any kind of gloves on the AIO-6, although knitted gloves can cause problems.
